I am actually glad I didn't get to watch the Titan's game today:rolleyes:

I had a wonderfull day with the kids in the smokies:) It's looking like Fisher should have kept Marc Jones.......or someone reliable to return kicks.
 
Yeah... Turnovers is what killed us... :( Should have easily won the game... But you could say the same for the Houston game too... :((
 
I don't think there is that much wrong with them... They are just finding ways to lose close games by making key mistakes... They lost the first 2 by a field goal, one in overtime, and they lost this one by a touchdown... Last game the secondary and officiating sucked this game, special teams sucked... :rolleyes:

Like Randy said they aren't playing Titan's ball.......taking care of the football and good defense. I think the change in defensive coordinators, while it may work in the long run, is hurting us (like it did when Swartz took over) as is maybe thinking we were a little better than we are before the season started.

Thats what knocked them out of the playoffs last year... :( I was yelling all during the 1st quarter yesterday... Their secondary is atrocious... It entirely makes a difference when your front four isn't getting the same pressure they used to... They're missing the big guy more than they'd let on... I wouldn't be surprised to see Vince come on the field in the next few games... I'd prefer they pick up a new QB this draft, but I'm not too excited about many of the prospects coming out this year...
 
When did we start accepting a loss but happy we kept it close-- regardless of opponents???? And I am starting to think that Crompton just needs clock pressure. They should tell him that there is 3 mins left every time he goes out.
 
I never thought this loss was acceptable... I'm starting to get annoyed with supposed Tennessee "fans"...
 
Well as my cousin used to say it's officially the "season of sadness" for the Titan's and the Vols:(

Chris, is that in reference to Crompton drilling the receiver in the facemask with the ball, just after he dropped a pass the previous play?

I can't decide what's worse: Crompton, our receivers, or our O-line. They all look terrible.
 
Eddie Gran (the Running Back Assistant Coach) was the speaker at Quarterback Club today. It was really interesting, and he answered loads of questions...not all of them were easy. You might wanna watch this one. It comes on tv on Wednesday nites at 8pm.

It was fried chicken and meatloaf day. :( I'm thinking Calhoun's won't bring out the good stuff again til we win. GO VOLS!

Yep, Crompton and our recievers looked about equal in the last game IMO. I think The O-line has played halfway decent considering the depth and injuries. We have 2 walk on's starting that weigh 260lbs........that's teeny.

Wow crompton looked awesome today and the o line did great today too. Was the team abducted by aliens this week. Whatever happened I hope we see the same team next week. GO VOLS
 
We get to enjoy this one through the week off and maybe play Bama close the week after:)
Compton looked like a world beater today!.....and we held GA's offense to 3 points! I hope maybe Crompton has turned the corner.
It was fun to watch Tennessee football again today for the first time in a long time:D
