dang not only did the game suck (for me) but then i get kicked while im down.. nice one tho:sad2:

Enjoy it while you guys are there Rev. It takes a bunch of things all falling in line to make it to the championship game.

All I have to say is that UT pushed Bama a hell of a lot more than UF did... :D

I loved how they threw Cody's stats up during the game... (2 blocked Field Goals) Both of which were against us... lol

I'm an Alabama native and all I've got to say is Roll Tide!! They worked hard to get there and then stomped all over FL! All the other teams in the SEC should be sending Bama thank you cards today just for putting the beat down on Tebow.

That was the best game I've seen Bama play this year, hands down. Florida didn't have anything working for them for some reason. I only hope that Bama doesn't choke like they did last year in thier bowl game... With all the problems they had scoring touchdowns against the SEC throughout the year, I am a little concerned. If they can play like they did in the SEC championship, I think they can beat anyone. (Disclaimer-I am in no way an Alabama fan-just ahd to put that out there;)).

They'll have no problem beating Texas. I've not been impressed with UT lately (not the local UT, the real UT).

I have never understood the whole REAL UT thing Texas fans talk about. The University of Texas was founded in 1883 and the University of Tennessee was founded in 1794.....so which came first:)

Tennessee also started playing football in 1891. I'm not sure when Texas started.

UT, Bama, Florida. Bleh.

Orange Bowl, baybee. ;)

And I haven't commented on Georgia squeaking by GT because I haven't been back to check the boards. Georgia got an early Christmas gift in the form of the GT QB spraining his ankle in the first half and missing most of the offensive drives. I have no idea how he came back in the 2nd half to stop GT from being totally embarrased. He looked slow, but still managed to lead the team with his usual 3 touchdown drives in that half. Irritating game overall, though. And shows just how fragile the GT offense is without a key player or two.

As for Virginia Tech, they are a solid team and stand a good chance of wiping UT off the field in a rout. They almost beat GT when GT was playing a good game with all players healthy. They have a good defense with other teams scoring not so much against them -- and even held GT to 28 points (although they couldn't stop the QB from running over 300 yards :) ). UT will have their hands full. Then again, UT has surprised me lately.
