The upgrade has begun! New tank purchased, now I need some plumbing advice…

I was only addressing the heat issue, not watts/gallon. Unless im missing something, 100% of the heat on a PW goes into the water..

I have a closed loop and love the small footprint in the tank and lack of wires but definitely see advantages to being able to re-adjust a powerhead at a whim.

Gasman, either way, you're agreeing with a democrat. :)
