The wait is over

Man, I wish I could celebrate the title of this thread with you. It just keeps on snowin up here in Wisco. There isnt even a single leaf present yet! There are still trucks out on the ice, fishing!

I was very excited last week to get my first look ever at a Hoodie!

Having grown up on the east coast, I have a special fondness for dogwood.

Image #2 does it for me (nice composition), though #3 sure demonstrates an abundance of blooms. The lighting seems harsher / more midday.

Thanks for sharing.

How beautiful! What a talent you have. Photos are absolutely stunning. Oh by the way, Go Pens! (Formally from South Hills, Pittsburgh).

They were all in harsh sun. The difference was being able to pick a bloom out in the shade of the tree for one and two. On three though, like you said about the abundance of blooms. It was really amazing, but the pic had to be on the outside of the tree to get that view. I did tone it down some but didn't want to wash it out going farther.

You mean you weren't out at dawn's first soft light to capture these wonderful images? ;)

I hear you about finding a blossom or two in the shade during a sunny day.

I like the bokeh in #3. Different. Sort of like an abstract water color painting.

still have snow on my lawn ...... ***? Ah, maybe it was the snowfall we had over the weekend! It's melting quick, thankfully.

Awesome cardinal shot.

That spider shot (#4) is particularly fine. Great composition. Love the wide aspect ratio.

Love is in the air in that last shot. Or maybe just on the water surface? ;)
