I'm waiting for a little piece of plastic edge that go on the tank. I thought it would look nicer without it. So I remove one side ... it was nicer with it so I asked then to send me another piece. I should have never touch it but now I know lol
I have 2xTunze 6055 and 3xKor4 right now. I will change the kor4 eventually. I may try 2x6045 Tunze standard mod. Have to read a little bit more on that. But I don't want to go with Vortech. My uncle bought one and it kept breaking up like one piece at the time ... After 1 month a little washer in on the wet side broke and he had to change the whole wet side because apparently, they don't sell this little 2$ washer alone ... 2-3 weeks later, the controller died. It's now in my trunk waiting to be shipped. He doesn,t want to pay another 200$ which with the wet side is pratically a brand new Vortech .... So I don't trust them anymore ...
I want to try to build a wavebox this winter (winter project you know). For now, I really like my tunze 6055 mainly because of the variable speed with my Profilux. My coral and fishes really seems to like the pulsing motion. Ideally, I would go with 2 other 6105 but they are pricey so it will have to wait
Hi Dave, no updates yet, still waiting for the little plastic molding. Should be here soon !
I'm tired of seeing my setup without any water inside lol
I also place and official order on 2 multifasciastus so has soon as they are on the list, my LFS will order them Hopefully, it will not take a year before they are available again.
I finally receive my plastic corner  I installed it yesterday and begin my plumbing a little bit.
I didn't take a lot of picture because I didn't do nothing that was appealing for a picture.
Today
- Glued my plastic corner
- Glued my bulkhead
- Glued my manifold and some pieces
Everything should be ready this weekend if I'm not to busy
And for those of you that were wondering were the emblem THE ZEN GARDEN went. It's in my frag tank and I have a little project for it. I'm waiting to start everything and then I can show you what this project is :fun4:
Yes, I only used short piece and T, still have to cut short pieces for all valves.
So I did glue all my plumbing that I had, but I still have to dismantle my current tank to take out true union valve to glue them on. I didn't have time today because I had to do some homework and tomorrow I'm going out to take pictures so I'll be back on it this week and water should be in for next weekend
I didnt have time to work on my tank Been cut up in final projects for school, I should have time to finish the plumbing only this week-end hopefully
Will try to work on the plumbing this week end so I can begin to fill this baby up, it's been way to long lol At least my tank is fully cured by now hahaha
Today I remove the monticap that where growing on my overflow box so that I could close the sump to move all the equipment to the new setup but filling water is taking way longer than I expected. after 3-4 rubbermaid trashcan, I'm only at around 5-6" of water ... So I would wait a couple of days before removing the equipement from the other setup.
I also went to pick-up a little box that I was really looking forward to
So since I'm in a break, and everything is started, an updates with water and a beginning of aquaspace should be post in a couple of days
Sorry, it seems that my deadline is always push further :sad2:
I did install the upgrade kit to go Profilux III (i didn't did it but my LFS did it for me). I currently filling my sump with RO/DI water it's half full so tomorrow or saturday it should be salted. I'm just waiting for the sump to be filled and salted then I'm gonna closed my sump upstair, move all the rocks in sump, carbon and phosphate reactor, skimmer. Then I will run the new setup 1-2 weeks, until parameter are stable.
It was a LOT LONGER than planned but bare with me, it's almost complete. Then the real fun begins Aquaspace, hunting for fishes/corals, etc
