Then & Now Hammer & Candy Canes

Here's a few pics of my candy cane colony & hammer. Present and a pic back in time. They've come along way in looks. I don't normally feed the candy canes, but now & again I'll shoot some mysis shrimp on it. Notice the coraline increase also.

I don't dose for calcium, it stays at about 480 constantly. I use IO Reef Crystals, so that might help with a high calcium. The only thing I add is phyto, but I don't guess that does much for these guys.

Yup, but until I upgrade to a bigger tank with better lighting he'll have to hang on.
