There is a baby Bangaii in my Anemone Basket!

The baby has survived. The male in the breeding pair passed 2 weeks ago :(.

They are hard to get enough food at the right time. He was always carrying. I am bummed about it.

My pair in a 240 did something 18 months ago and I still have 2 Bangaii living in my sump. I feed them once a week. It's a 75 gallon refugium / return /filter sump with the return in the middle. I turn off all pumps at feeding time and water rises above all the baffles so for 20 minutes they have free rome. Day 2 day I find them them in different compartments. I think they mostly eat plant material in the form of macro algae from the refugium otherwise they would be dead. I know from experience if I put them in DT it's instant death. It's really cool having babies grow into adults without even trying. Especially knowing what it takes to raise clown fish. They both sell for the same $20 each unless special of course

Yeah, I can probably get a good pic of him later. Getting to be a good size and the adult female is now letting it "hang out" :).

Here is the baby turned juvi :)

Awesome! I love babies. On getting enough to feed them, I had the thought you may want to try feeding mysid when the male is eating. They are higher calorie counts I believe then brine shrimp. Get him fat for the famine.
