how long have you had the star?

Great shot. The more time I spend on this forum, the more I think seahorses could be in my future.

That star's been in there about 8 months or so. Doesn't seem to mind the horses....though does go in the rocks to get away time to time.

I have always wanted a starfish like that with my seahorses but I have a harlequin shrimp in there so that would be a costly meal. They do look awesome though.

I've got some leathers (they love these to perch on...so far all the leathers have done fine with it), a couple brain corrals (my LFS helped me pick out some non-stinging one), a red sea fan, a 'flower pot' (I'm sure there's a more precise name for this), a candy cane, an orange sponge, a couple of 'stalky' sea plants, and a few odds and ends mushrooms.

I have a large turbo snail they like to ride around on-I dont think there is much a seahorse wont grab hold of. That is why it is so important to not have stinging things in the tank.
