I am in the process of upgrading to a 65 from a 55. I have some really fine sand from the 55 that I would rather not put into the new tank (maybe in the sump). Bare bottom is not an option. Not sure how much I would need looking to get about a 2 or 3 inch deep sand bed.
In my 55 I have a mixture of lace rock and live rock. I would like to get some more live or dead rock in the size of softball or so.
I am also looking for a stand for the 65. I was planing on making a stand for the 65 but I am trying to keep this as little cost as possible.
I am really stoked about this new tank I know its only 10 more gallons but as any one ever tried to aqua scape a 55. Let me tell you what a real pain it is. So I will be opened to a whole different world with the new tank build if I have ever get there.
