Well I'll start.
I just dropped my skimmer collection cup BEHIND my tank, FULL of skimmer juice, On to CARPET!

Zang,........... NOT cool, this should smell good!

Man I feel like an idiot...................

Things not to do.......

Never work on your tank when in a hurry or about to leave your house....you might forget something....like, oh, say, leave a MH light on top of your canopy

I've been guilty of doing waterchanges and forgetting to turn off the ATO. Nothing like trying to add some fresh salt water to clean things up and inadvertantly dropping your SG from 1.025 to 1.020 in 15 minutes.

Trying to ghettofy electrical work and not test it (It was on backwards and I realized this AFTER I super glued it all

Just droped a 7" clip on fan into my tank last night. Surprisingly, it continued to run for several seconds before shorting out and tripping the GFCI. Could have been a kick butt flow generator :)

not reading this forum before ontaking a saltwater aquarium!.....

or forcing baffles into the sump....caused my fuge to crack and get waterall over the place....

Forgetting to measure your sump and front doors before building a stand. Had to take the side panels and trim off to get the sump in from the side! Don't know what I'm going to do when I have to take it out.

While refiling my tank, after a WC, with a powerhead and a hose, I noticed that the hose came out of the tank. With one hand in the bucket, I reached with a very wet hand for the powerstrip to unplug the powerhead.

Needless to say, in my hurried attempt to spill less water I got a nice shock that caused me to spill about 3 gallons of water all over the floor. Thank god they were wood floors.

Dont be careless with super glue around acrylic.

I did this this weekend to the front of my 225 :(

Didnt notice it until the next morning

I could show you a picture of what I came home to after a 5 day vacation one time though that is a serious contender against anything anyone wants to post though
