Think I might have montipora eating nudi's?

I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary in the last week, but almost all of my monti's have a small dead patch. There not bleaching.....only one little patch that's not spreading. Any ideas?

There were some on those rainbow and purple haze monties at NB. Get a wrasse, and take peice out and inspect and mabe take a toothbrush and brush out any undersides where they may be hiding.

You should have dip those corals Jake. They are easy to get rid of though just do what Jeff saids. The right level of flat worm exit will also get rid of them for ya and you can treat your whole tank if it gets out of control. Theirs an article on how to treat it.

Salt creep that falls on a coral can also do that. Just a thought, I had it happen to me. Otherwise I would use flat worm exit.

Flatwork exit works on nudi's? I had no idea. What dosage? Links to the article?
I know, lot's of questions. Just a new tidbit of info that I was unaware of.

Jeff- I know those pieces were infested. I called mike and tom that night as I was dipping them in iodine. Mine was so bad that I felt leaving it in an extra min wouldn't do any more harm... and I fried the whole piece! I managed to save about a 1/4 of the original colony.

what kind of wrasse does the best job? I've been told bananna and 6 line.

I think yellow corris(bannana?) are the best. I dissagree that 6 line dont get them (every fish can be hit or miss), but they are aggressive.

I just put a tiny little 6 line in today, I already have too may yellow fish......plus he'll be my only wrasse. If he start's to be a problem I'll just feed 'em to my lionfish:D :D

so I definately have those nudi's....I just found 'em this morning. I almost missed 'em......they look identical to detritus. So does anybody have some flatworm exit that I can bum?
