Think Im done :(

Ok so baffles are almost out, silicone is almost off, tank pump is shut down plumbing is capped off.
I can't do a refill until monday ( am I ok to leave the water in the main tank for now?) So the seams don't dry?

what seams do you mean the silicone in the tank I wouldnt worry about them drying i keep tanks in my garage for years and re use them.

Not to post anything different..........but if it doesn't smell like vinegar........don't use that silicone.

Yeah I would have saved myself tons of headache had I just posted here :( anyhow im finally done removing all baffles, removed 98% of the silicone. I can't get the real thin coat on the one side. I think I may have to use sand paper and scratch the heck out of it in the meantime ... but it will be totally removed then.

Back to my initial? The water is sitting in my display until mon- soonest I can get the salt. Is this going to hurt anything?

You will be fine for a few days, get the heaters into the display, keep good water movement in the tank, try to get some rippling on the surface. If you don't have access to borrow a HOB skimmer drop some airstones on a pump in. Just use check valves or keep the air pump above the waterline of the tank in case it gets unplugged or power goes out.

Thanks

I thought the tank was stocked! Even if it's empty I would still keep the water aerated and moving.

I have carbon running right now, I was scared leaving the toxic water in thedisplay because I thought it may stick to my silicone in my display? Anyhow all the water is being dumped mon and replaced with new water.

But now my sump is baffle less ughhh
