think this zenia will kill my clam?

I think ultimately over time the zenia will grow onto the shell of the clam. It may irritate the clam enough to keep it from opening.
If you want to remove the zenia, consider using a soft bristled tooth brush. Gently roll the edges of the base of the zenia off the rock. If you do this right, the zenia will not be harmed and you can donate/trade/sell the coral to anyone who wants it
