Thinking about changing from Radiums to t5...

I've ran radiums forever and love them but I'm now thinking of trying an 8- t5 setup. What would be pros and cons? 120 gal mixed reef will be more sps than lps.

BRS did a study on T5 bulb longevity and proved very little par lost so they actually can recommend replacing up to about 13-15 months now!

I've thought about this. I'd just love to get away from the heat problem with halides. I love the color of them but I've been battling a 6 degree heat swing during the day. I don't want to run a chiller.

this sounds promising. I actually have ran radiums for that long also without issues.

I've thought about this.

I bought on of these.

My tank is 48x24 and I wanted to be able to get to the shadows the LED's can leave behind
