Thinking about changing lighting?

Im currently running Orbit LEDs on the tank but thinking of switching to t5 lighting... Got a good deal on a 48" coralite t5 setup with 4 bulbs.

Looking for any and all opinions please

personally I'd get it better LED fixture, t-5's are awesome too I just don't replace the bulbs

If you got a nice deal on a T5 setup why not just go ahead and try it out? If your not happy with it after a year or so then you can sell it. Would also give you some time to save up if you want to get something a bit high end. JMO.

Chinese LED is where its at. I just got one for my 40 gal breeder and its the best purchase I've made so far.

T5's are great, but the Coralife fixtures are pretty basic. With a little research, you can find comparable fixtures with more bells and whistles and for half the price.

But if you go ahead with the Coralife, I'd replace all of the factory bulbs with quality ones from either ATI or Giesemann. :bigeyes:
