so currently i have a 75 gallon full blown reef and im thinking about downgrading to a biocube, something small that i can still enjoy and kinda have a nano tank. does anyone have any opinions on this matter?

do they make a 40? cause thats what i was hoping to get but i only saw that they made a 14 and a 29 on their website.

Personally I've had both sumpless, sump tanks, and AIO tanks... Go with a tank with a sump... It just makes things so much more enjoyable. Even if its a 20 Gallon high + 10 gallon sump.

^^^+1 a 20 to 40 gallon with a little sump, skimmer, and even a simple hang over the back return jet ( so only 2 small holes are required to plumb for drains) will keep sps easy with a single power head and lighting of choice. it'll be fun watching it grow completely out in a year. and I mean completely filled out. Lol

if you get an all in one..........you fill it with water, and whalla. ur done.

you really dont have any room to do different things like add a skimmer, add reactors, change up the lighting etc. with a smaller tank, like a 24" cube, at least you can do some variations with equipment, verses an AIO 29 biocube.

nothing wrong with biocubes, owned one myself for years as a QT tank. they work fine, but you're limited with what you can do with them, unless you start to mod them.....of course defeats the purpose of buying it if you are going to do drastic changes to it.
