Thinking about getting some Common Seahorses

I have dwarf seahorses and am thinking about getting some common seahorses. I have a 29 gallon and a 40 gallon tank that i could use. The 29 gallon is about 16 inches high and the 40 gallon is about 18 inches high. my question is how many could each tank hold, and which tank would be the better choice?

Your 29 gallon could have one pair of sh and in your 40 gallon two pairs,do you know what type of sh are you thinking of getting???

That will be fine for a pair of kudas and in your larger tank that will take two pairs of kudas.

As for which tank to use, it depends on your priorities. Your seahorses will appreciate the extra height on the 40g, but if you use the 29g, you will have a slightly easier time handling the nutrient load (40g is 5g less than the recommended volume for 2 pairs of seahorses).
