so ive been thinking about adding a new fish, either a tailspot blenny or a chalk bass. maybe even both. i just dont know how well theyll play with the other fish (6 line wrass, ywmg, and flameback angel) the tank is a 29 gallon, anyone think this is a good idea?

Hi, I remember reading somewhere that, as a rule-of-thumb, to house 1 fish for every 10 gallons, this is so that the fish dont get in each other's nerves. You also have to consider how big the fish will get. I have a 100 gallon tank and I have 9 fish, they range from medium to small. Good luck

I certainly would not add fish, especially with a sixline wrasse already there. As it is you probably have insufficient algae for a flame angel.

There is no real rule of thumb in salt water. In any case, it depends on their personalities and whether they live in the same ecological niche.
