Thinking of buying a Nano Wavemaker for 90g - help

It a standard all glass 90g with overflow. My rock work starts about 12 inches from the right side where the Tunze would be placed - I don't\won't want to redo my rockwork and won't have the 19" clearance Tunze recomends - so am I wasting my money? Not enough room ? Ideas, suggestions and opinions welcomed. Thanks!

I'm new to Tunze products so could I get the "wave" look from their controllable powerheads ?

Thanks all in advance!

The nano wavebox will work, in fact you can aim it from the back to the front in a corner and it will work. Unlike the full size wavebox, the displacement is almost completely responsible for the wave so orientation is less important. If you can place it in a back corner and aim it to the front it will work but the wave will have a bit of a high corner effect in the front corner.

Placed the order - should have it in a week. For good flow what other powerhead(s) would you recommend. I currently have a couple of maxijets aiming every which way but I'd like to get away from that. My goal is to have a cleaner, functional look with chaotic current whipping everything around. Thx

Don't get carried away with whipping things around. That can do more harm than good, the natural currents are rather rhythmic and predictable with changes for tides and periodic chaos during storms. You want something where their is some turbulance and some change but that it is within a predictable pattern and not overly agressive. A couple 6055's would be the ideal with a multicontroller and the nano wavebox.
