Hi Everyone.
I am an experienced FOWLR person and am thinking of turning one of my tanks into a seahorse tank.
Right now I have a 65 gallon tall (approx 3'x 1'x 3') that has been up and running since last august that I recenty emptied except for cleanup crew and pods and live rock of course.
I also have a 15 gallon that is not set up right now, but I think that would be too small.
I see most people posting here have there horses in smaller tanks and I am wondering if this tank is going to be some sort of problem due to the height.
I was hoping to just culture pods for a couple months and add some mangroves and turtle grass for hitching posts and keep the 50 pounds of live rock in there.
Any advice on whether this tank would be ok and advice on culturing my pod population.
Also wondering what species would be best to get?? Any ideas??
Thanks for you time!
