Thinking of switching closed loop to Tunze

i will take out the 2x6200 and replace it with 4x6100. 6x6100 should be more than enough flow in my cube. 19000gph + 2 wavebox.

Hey dude, I think your fish will get tired swimming against the current the whole time.

The wavebox is very cool. The wave period seems to be longer the longer your tank is, all other things being equal. There is a 4' tank at my favorite LFS and wave frequency is a lot faster than it is on my 6' tank at home. From what I understand the frequency is even slower on an 8' tank unless you try to set up a "double wave" effect. One thing to remeber is that the longer your wave frequency the bigger the wave will be. I actually had to turn the power down on mine a little bit to keep water from sloshing out of my oceanic 215.

The water sloshing does make noise but I do not find it to be disturbing at all. My tank is right next to the couch in my living room and I hardly notice it unless I listen for it and my wife hasn't complained at all.
