Thinking of trying some SPS

I know it has probably been asked at least one million times but, I want to be sure I have enough light to keep SPS. My tank from the water line to the sand is about 20 inches, my light is a 6x54 watt t5 fixture. I know at the bottom it will not be enough light but will it be ok if I place them about mid level or higher. I have a pocillopora that is doing well. I just want to be sure I am ok with light.

Alof of people like ATI bulbs. You need to be the one to pick your colors though. I would diffently get a Fiji Purple bulb in there though. It will help pull out the red and purples in your tank. If I can help with anything else shoot me a PM. Wish you the best.

You don't have enough light. Upgrade to a fixture that costs at least $1000.

Plenty of light as for bulbs here's what iam running and love the color.
2 ATI blue+
2 KZ superblue
1 KZ new gen
1 KZ fiji purple

i have 4x54 t5 over my 55 and i bleached my red planet almost halfway down. you have more than enough
