There are new local hobbyists setting up and asking questions. With so few non-sale posts in the CMAS forum, I think they are finding more active forum areas to post their tanks and questions.

Not really. I am sure if you googled something about reef keeping in Chicago that you could figure out the options available as far as a local clubs, groups, forums.

Yeah I could do that but I was looking for a members suggestion. The only reason I asked if it was ok is because of how certain brands & stores can't be named on here for whatever reason.
