Does a clown only host to his anemone?

I ripped the boot on my clowns bubble tip a week ago. I got a new RBTA for him yesterday which is much bigger. If i remove the old bubble tip will he recognize that its another anemone for him or will he be lost and confused?

The clown doesn't host the anemone, its the other way around. But to answer your question no the clown will be able to move on. I have went through 3 anemones before settling down to my RBTA
