Well no electricity involved, flooding or vehicles rolling over trees but I did drop my refractometer in my tank the other day. It was completely submerged for about 15 seconds. I took it out tried to get as much water out of it as possible. They I washed it out repeatedly by dunking ind swishing it in a RO/DI bath. I'm happt to say it is working fine now after it dried out. i just need to get some calibration fluid to make sure but I think I'm good to go. Hopefully nobody will need to but it is possible to save a refractometer after a swim in the tank.
