Considering using an OM 4 way again on my 120g or using this for ease of installation. No holes to cut and plumbing to configure. I like the clean look of nothing in the tank, but also realize the hassle I will have with an established tank and trying to drill for the OM.

What issues are users having and has the manufacturer been readily available for these issues? Customer service knowledge and help?

this is a great company to deal with and they are always available for customer service.

Vortechs are exellent alternatives to Wavebox's, closed loops and powerheads in the tank.

Any pump shipping today will be free of any defects or design problems. The only thing to do is set the pump up properly according to the manual and enjoy it for the life of your aquarium. Any maintenance items are discussed in the instruction manual.
