This overflow good enough?

That might work, but I think you would be better off going with a known brand such as an Eshoops overflow instead. (PF-800) These are pretty reliable and have been around for a long time.

I bought the whole kit from modularmarine. I had them custom make it for me with the 12" external box with 3x 3/4 in bulkheads and a 18" toothless internal box. The total came out to $140ish total. It's pretty well made and I've seen a lot of posts about it. I'm just plumbing mine now and it looks like I will be able to do a bean animal setup, which is good.
