getting rid of the seaclone and want to try an odyssea PS75 skimmer. Any experience with these? good/bad? Thanks.

Im giving the seaclone to a friend who is new to the hobby. Hes making a fish only tank atm. SO a seaclone should be good for him... IMO the thing blows.. Im hoping for better resualts with the PS75 :)

Are you planning on using it for your 110gallon? If so I agree with bskiba. For an economical skimmer with great performance invest in the Octopus.

Im actually using it on a 50 gal Im setting up atm. And I don't really like the seaclone but don't hace the money to get a 100$ plus skimmer so I got a ps75 on sale for 35 bucks brand new.

the ps 75 is a waist of $35 imo. I have done similar when I started in the hobby. many others have and everywhere you read on here you will hear the same.

Eventually you'll add up all the money you've spent on POS cheap skimmers and wish you would have just bought a good one from the start. I know, I've been there.

most of the time the odyssea skimmer doesnt come with a pump....there goes another 30-50 bux out of ur pocket making the total cost of the skimmer 65-85 bux.

This one did :). Was a promotional thing. Sale price maked down from 80 bux to 34.95. So I figuer hell why not I'll try it lol. If I don't like the odyssea pump it comes with I hace a few other pumps lying around like a few maxi jet 1200s that might work well with it.

hey bskiba.... are thos octupus good at all. ivee been lookin at the tunze DOC's but to pricey

i got a 29g sps/lps tank should that skimmer u posted be good..

is it loud???

the odyseas's suck!
i had one gave to me, i figured i would throw it on the frag tank...

wow.. the pump leaks more air than it pumps!
is impossible to get adjusted for any length of time..
what a waste of money.. im glad i didnt buy it!

wow then I wasted 34 bux if they are as bad as you guys say... guess I can throw it on ebay then pick up a coral life super skimmer...lol. ty guys.

Should be great for a 29. right at the same performance level with ASm and way better quality.

I have a the odyssea ps75 in my 30g reef and work really well. Its really a good skimmer for small tanks but Idont recommend it for tanks of more than 40g. If you want more info just ask.
