This this a good LEd Light for Corals

All depends on your budget. Price range of LEDs can be a few hundred to well over a thousand dollars for your size tank. Options for mounting vary. You could make your own out of conduit or some have optional tank mounts. Ecotech radions now have tank mount options. Kessils have a gooseneck for tank mounting. If your handy and can DIY then your options are unlimited as to which units to buy. It just comes down to budget.

Not sure what you mean by "stand-type lights". If you mean one with an integrated tank mount, yes, there are several out there. One of the most popular is the Maxspect Razor. Presuming that you've a 3-foot long standard size 65 gallon, the Maxspect 160w 10,000K light fixture would be appropriate.

Other options that are popular would be two Kessil 360w-e fixtures mounted on goosenecks, two Radion X15W Pro fixtures and RMS tank mounts, or two Aqua illumination Hydra 26 fixtures and 2 EXT rail mounts.

Aqua Illumination is very close to releasing a minimalist fixture called Prime at a very attractive price ($200 each including tank mounts); they're described on Aqua's website.

On the lower end of the price range, you can get inexpensive, high-output Chinese fixtures from Reefbreeders, though you'll have to engineer your own tank mount.

If all of the above is more capital outlay than you wish, I'd advise going with an Aquatic Life 6-bulb T5HO fixture. T5s are tried and true technology, and while the long-term costs of ownership are higher than LEDs, the initial cost outlay is quite low.

That light isn't even good for freshwater. I had the 24" one over my planted 20long and upgraded it after less than 2 months. At best, it's a viewing light for shallow tanks less than 12" deep.

Yes, it will be OK for a reef tank, so long as you purchase a minimum of 2 of the fixtures for low-light corals, or 3 of them for higher light corals.

I'd second the T5 option. I have the 4 bulb Aquatic Life on my tank, supplemented with one blue LED strip mounted inside the fixture and I am able to grow anything. You could get quite a few different color options with the 6 bulb fixture.

If I buy two of these I'm looking at 400+ dollars.. Isnt there a different light that will work for that price range if not lower...

I'm looking for one that can be programmed and has an "AUTO" Dimmer

Here's hoping someone can answer this. I doubt it though, all the lights I've seen that have all the features, AND the wattage, typically run 500$+.

If you want cheap, you'll have to sacrifice on either features, or wattage. The orbit marine only uses 1/4 watt LEDs. Everything I've read for decent coral growth needs 3 watt leds.
You could maybe combine the Orbit Marine to ramp up to viewable light, and then have a no-frills Evergrow light set to power on after the ramp up. But again, you're looking at 2 lights worth about 200$ each.

Cant really Afford 500 dollars.. Was trying to stay in the 200-300 dollar Range.

Leds aren't the choice for you then considering your must haves.. Unless you get 2x eBay evergrow 160w fixtures w/no frills(they are decent lights though) ..

This hobby is expensive especially the new led technology,I don't even think you can't even build your own no frills light for your budget .

I second finding a decent t5 fixture and call it a day..

What about lights from http://reefradiance.com/

Which lights would be best for me.. I'm looking for ones that are on a timer and have auto dim mode..

I also notice they make a stand which is a plus!!!

I also noticed they try to sell you to make the lights into a 60º 90º or 120º optics.. What does they mean?

I was looking at the 132 model ...

http://reefradiance.com/dm-132e.html

Does this come with everything and dont have to buy a separate timer and such.

Also, I'm guessing I would need 2 of them? I have a 48 " wide tank and probably going to use the bracket they sell on their site..

If the 132 model isnt good for me which one is?

Thanks for your help
