Just an FYI...

This tool is a life saver and is the one and only scraper you will ever need for glass tanks.

Right now in my nano I use as is, but in my old 135 I glued the handle to an acrylic rod and it worked great.

Best part is that it uses standard razor blades so replacement blades can be bought almost anywhere and they are cheap!

Gemini - my pleasure. Yes, the leverage is why it works so well. The blade is always flat against the surface.

Milivvy - Any hardware store sells them (Ace, Home Depot). It's just called a Scraper (used for floors, paint, etc).

But if you ask for a scraper that you can attach razor blades to, they'll point you in the right direction. I can't remember what section in Home Depot I bought this one at but I believe it was in paint.

It doesn't come with razor blades so you'll have to buy a pack of those separately.
