Thoroughly Mixing Salt Granules In Bucket

Please excuse me if this post is ridiculous. I've had my IM Fusion 20 running for almost 8 months. I've been using Red Sea Coral Pro Salt mix. I just now purchased the larger bucket of salt (I've been using the smaller ones). I know Red Sea says settling may occur during shipping. Question is how do you guys/gals make sure your brand new bucket is mixed properly to maintain stable parameters water change after water change?

I mix my salt water to 1.025-1.026 sg. I've just recently started testing (Salifert) my parameters of my newly mixed water to make sure the parameters aren't way off.

Thanks.

I've never run into the issue of the salt mix separating, but I guess you could put the bucket on its side and roll it and shake it.

I buy it by the 200g box. Comes in 4 bags. Before I open each bag, I mix the salt up. Then I portion it up into 8 cup sealed containers, enough for a full batch of salt water. That way I know it is thoroughly mixed.
I think it's worth the effort.
