Those w/basement sumps. What Return pump are you using?

Just like it says, I've got a 180 in the works. Looking for an efficient return pump from basement sump to display. What's everyone running?

How many feet of head are you dealing with? Is the return pump going to be running anything else? I would be looking for a pressure pump.

Cool

Hey Capt. I'm in the same boat as you. I runnning the same tank w/ the same problem. I'm going to have at the very least 20' of head so I was thinking of going w/ a sequence hammerhead. They have good head ratings and use less power.

I've been eyeballing the sequence pumps. Love my blueline. Just need to figure out my plumbing before I can calculate the head pressure. Definitely a pain, but I gotta get it right on the first try. Don't want to have to do it twice.

I have two sequence pumps, one for a closed loop hooked up to OM4, the other for flow through the sump. (model 4200 and a 5000 i think?)

I'm really amazed that they just keep running 24/7. I clean them rarely and when I do they didn't really need it.

I am useing a dart to go up a floor to my 280 and find it to not be quite enough power, and am now looking at going to the barracuda.

I'm using an Iwaki MD100RLT with about 17 ' head and couldn't be happier. I like using Sequence pumps for closed loops and Iwaki pumps for the main work horse.

PanWorld 200PS. Runs great. I cleaned it for the first time in two years a few weeks ago.
