thought of building a 300 gallon cube..

I am considering buying a 300 gallon Cube. Its 4ft by 4ft and 30 inches tall. I am wanting my tank to be energy efficient. I plan on showing the tank in the future.
My question is for Tunze, how would you set up a cube like this with water movement. The overflow is a one foot square center overlfow in middle of tank. I have learned through the years that water flow promotes calcifiation, feeding corals.
I love Flow.
I have to sell my custom 90 for this but I feel like it will be well worth the effort.
Thanks in Advance,
Ed Hahn:)

Ok, I might have another concern this tank is 3/4 inch acrylic all the way around and one inch Eurobracing on top.

I would probably run 2 6200 Streams directed diagonally. Magnet holders would be the best solution.

Ok Roger,
I ordered two Tunze 6200's with controller for my cube. I know I can add more flow with more Tunzes if needed. Reef Exotics gave me a pretty good deal.
I will try to give you a heads up either way.
One fear is heat. The other, I definitely want to keep electricity consumption low. I hope Your pumps do that.
Thanks again,
Ed Hahn

Little heat if any and great flow for the energy. You will be very happy. Though I bet you end up getting another stream or 2. I don't think 2 will be enough. Depends on your rockwork. In my 300 I have 3x6100's , 1xseo 1500, 1xseo2500, 2 x little giant mdx4q-sc returns,1 x mag 7 for spray bar. and I am think off adding a stream 6200.

Is your 300 a cube?

no 96x30x24 I think maybe 96x36x24. That is why it will depend on your rock work alot on how much flow you will need. I used to run my streams running the length of the tank. I have much better results with most of them lined against the back blowing and bouncing off the front glass. 1 does run the length of the tank with the seo 2500
