So I thought I was battling trying to get rid of micro bubbles in the DT and was unable to figure out where they were coming from. Now I see these tiny white dots on the glass are actually alive and crawling around I think they are also what's in the water column. I believe they are copods, sorry so small can't get a picture, but there must be thousands of them. There are prob. Several hundred on the front glass alone. I quit running my filter sock it might have been catching a lot of them and there are no fish and I feed CUC pretty well so I guess their population exploded...

Any way too many can be a problem?

No way to have too many. They are self limiting based upon available eats. Don't get a Mandarin Goby if your tank is less than a year old or it will likely starve.

Yeah only no fiah because tank is young 2.5 month or so, first fish pair of occ. clowns are actually in QT tank right now.
Man there are pods everywhere tho. Like make the water look less clear there are so many tank is large too at 180 gal. but I wouldn't want mandarin to whipe them out and starve. I don't know if too many live in fuge section of sump. No chaeto in it yet and it has a pretty fast flow thru it, unfortunetly it is middle compartment :(
