Looking at a new posting on frag swapper - Leng Sy Cap ,which I never heard of before. Kind of looks like the purple ridge cap floating around , but a little different. So I did a search and found this-

yep, it's a oldie but goodie. Probably one of the original 5 named corals. I've had it twice now, once from steve tyree himself that I lost in a dsp crash and once from Atlantis group buy that I left out on my tank brace for 3 hours before I remember I didn't mount it

I read the article, does that mean there is no more leng sy cap out there? or is it again availalble because of that piece grown in Florida?

From what the article says, is that it is a clone of some sorts due to the fact that ALL other frags that went out died. IMO

I have what I thought was one of those corals, it was one of 2 frags that I bought at the last frag swap that turned out to be not as advertised. The one I have grows in different patterns - mostly flat and is green with blue/purple polyps.

That article was written in 2000. I'm not sure that information is correct anymore. The first piece I received was from Steve's hand directly. Atlantis also sells this coral on there website.
