Thoughts on ATI 8 bulb combo?

You really only want 1 purple plus. Put one purple plus in the middle. I think you will more than likely want to replace the aqua blue specials with 2 more blue plus bulbs personally.

I'd run 2 Coral + / With 6 Blue + (JMO) See what you think.
I took out one Coral + and put in a KZ new gen ii (Best full daylight bulb I've even seen)
Those Blue +'s maybe the best T5 on the market today. Par Monsters!!!!!!!

That gen II is a par MONSTER. I swapped one in for a coral plus once in my 6 bulb ati fixture and I gained like 100 par everywhere in the tank lmao. Nice crisp white too.

1 Actinic
Then I purchased one extra of each to play around with the last spot. Whatever doesn't get used will be used at next bulb change anyway. I could have lived with any of them to be honest, I ended up keeping the last Coral+ in there but it's just subtle differences being the last bulb of eight.

I don't know about the par but the Gen ii gives off the sweetest full daylight color spectrum I've ever seem.

Here's my config today, but.... I modded (Led's) into my factory mid sec of my S-400. The mid section held 2 T5's on it's own timers so it was originaly pushing ten T5's.
Front to Back slots.
1) Blue+
2) Gen ii / Used to be Coral+
3) Blue+
4) Blue +
Led Section / Used to run 2 True Actinic's
5) Blue + / Used to be Purple +
6) Blue +
7) Coral +
8) Blue +
This is what ATI recommended to me pushing ten T5's before the led mod.
Front to Back slots.
1) Blue+
2) Coral+
3) Blue+
4) Blue +
5) True Actinic (On it's on timers for dusk and dawn but ran during full daylight)

It seems before the coral+ came out, most guys ran an ABS with a purple. Now most guys just run a coral+ instead.

Seems that way to me too.
The guy from ATI mentioned the ABS gives off a fair amount of wash out.
Never ran the ABS but the C+ is a nice bulb.
