Thoughts on Blueline Pumps

On mine they really aren't loud at all. Quieter than an ampmaster I had. I actually don't even think I hear the noise from the motor . I think its more the noise from the fan on the pump. These have built in fans on them that are not dead silent. But no fans are silent with any of the equipment I have ever gotten.

GenX pumps are much louder then the Pan World pumps. I think the guy who said they were loud had his sitting on a wooden floor.

All of mine sit on rubber pads and you can't hear them at all if you are in the same room. You hear water trickling into the overflow -- and thats pretty quiet itself.

Powerful but noisy.

I agree...not a pump for the living room tank.

I have been running the 70 for a few years. It is a terrific pump. I don't think it is noisier than many others I have had and it runs like a tank. I am feeding a 90 & a 220 one room over and one flight up...probably 13 feet above the pump level. I wonder if having a 1.25" input line from the sump has helped......
