What are your thoughts on killing algae with hydrogen peroxide? I feel like I'm doing hand removal everyday.
If you're for it, what concentration do I use? I know to turn off the flow in the tank for an hour beforehand and an hour after.
I have inverts, 3 urchins, a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, 5 turbo snails, and 5 hermit crabs.

You can't treat the rocks in-tank. They must be individually removed and scrubbed as clean as possible in used tank water first. Then dribble on enough H2O2 to soak the affected areas, leave it soak for 30 seconds or so, rinse again in tank water and then return it to the tank.

You'd never get it concentrated enough in tank to do a thing.

Is this a new tank? Why so little in a 420g tank if its not?
What are your nitrate and phosphate levels?

Hydrogen peroxide will most certainly kill algae..
But I would like to understand more about your system,etc... goals/needs,etc.. before recommending it..
You can kill the algae.. but if you aren't treating the reason its there in the first place your peroxide time is just wasted IMO as it will come right back eventually and the circle continues.. ;)

Okay. Thanks. I figured the idea of treating in the tank was B.S., but I wasn't sure.

My lfs recommends Hydrogen Peroxide dosing when the power goes out for a while, something about adding dissolved oxygen to the system. If its true, I doubt dosing would help.

You can use peroxide in the tank to eliminate small areas of algae. I turn off all the pumps then use a syringe to treat directly onto the algae. If you do it right you can see bubbles rising from the algae and it will be gone in a day or so. I tried dosing my tank for over a month and it didn't do anything.
