Thoughts on temp, aggression and mixing of the "clans"

How do you deal with aggression in your grow outs?

What temp do you keep your breeding pairs grow-out and larvae at?

Do you mix your clownfish?

At what age does an Oscellaris for example understand a WSM or Perc is the "enemy".

As for temp 82F as best I can manage it.

On the aggression, it may be that mixing species has an advantage. It hasn't been long enough or enough trials yet, but so far it looks to me like tomato clowns grown out on their own are far more aggressive than those mixed 50-50 with ocellaris. Just something I happened to notice in my GO tanks. It may be confusing or distracting to them to be in a mixed group, I don't know, but in the mixed fish there are far less torn fins & tails :D

If my stupid $@*$!#^% GSM's would cooperate it would be really interesting to see if mixing settles them down a bit too.

I will probably never attempt WSM's again, that was a disaster. They didn't just fight, they flat out KILLED each other :(

What age did this happen to the WSM?

It maybe that the Tomatos arent sure whats going on and are to timid to be aggressive. Did you change foods also perhaps?

Between u and captivemarine. I think I will look into keeping species together. For space and reducing aggression
