On the aggression, it may be that mixing species has an advantage. It hasn't been long enough or enough trials yet, but so far it looks to me like tomato clowns grown out on their own are far more aggressive than those mixed 50-50 with ocellaris. Just something I happened to notice in my GO tanks. It may be confusing or distracting to them to be in a mixed group, I don't know, but in the mixed fish there are far less torn fins & tails
If my stupid $@*$!#^% GSM's would cooperate it would be really interesting to see if mixing settles them down a bit too.
I will probably never attempt WSM's again, that was a disaster. They didn't just fight, they flat out KILLED each other
