I was told maybe a Acropora granulosa or acropora loripes

What are your thoughts.

hard to say but all those corallite bumps means its not granulosa.
Id even consider some kind of staghorn variety

Really tough to say at that size. If it grows into a dense cluster as a colony I would guess A. squarrosa.
