Thread like worms

I've been noticing these real fine worms in the sand. Are they edible by fish? I have a hog fish, a basselet, an anthias, a goby, a clown,

So they have a tube or something beneath the sand?

look under the the tank up through the bottom i see quite alot in mine at night they can be seen waveing around collecting food
