Some reefers had to send there Senders ozonizers back to Germany for repairs because no one was able to fix them in USA. The reefer (DeltecRules) is one of them .

Like I said, its a voltage source and 2 plates. Thats it. They come completely apart too.

I may be a little slow help me out here!!!
You saying that when the ozonizer kicks in you will not get a full blast of ozone in to the skimmer ? but it will slowly come up to a full 300Mg after one hour? so I can run a 300mg ozone in to my Deltec for 10 minutes and that will be only 50Mg approximately in the skimmer?
If I have it correctly let me know ?

If its a 300mg/hr unit, you're always getting 300mg/hr. Yes, you'll only put 50 mg in during a 10 minute period, but that doesnt matter. Deltec says no more than 50mg/hr. You're getting 300mg/hr during that period.

You'll see a lot more damage this way than if you ran a 50mg all the time.

That being said, I run a C50 on my 70 gallons of water, and I think its currently adjusted down to about 5 mg/hr, and it doesnt haev to turn on all that much.

300mg is a TON of ozone.

Yes I know but it most be something else they have problems with . I will asked him to see what was. I know he took it apart and clean it but was not able to fix it.

bringing this one up from the death, i recently got a redsea plus 100 controller etc, after 48 hours i dont get a reading on the probe if i put it on vinegar it reads, so i cleaned it up, put the probe back in my sump and the reading is going back down its now at 13...any ideas, should i leave it 48 or so hours to see if it climbs? no ozone is being injected so far...

thx, i gave it a good cleaning yesterday, and now it has started to read so far 127 and climbing, i will probably leave it for a week to see where it levels, and then i will start the ozone.

What kind of ozone do you guys recommend for a 300 display and about 450 total volume.

Thanks

I'd get a redsea 200mg, basic model with Milwaukee ORP controller.

whats the best way to clean/maintenance the ORP probe for my Milwaukee controller, haven't touched it in over a year.

Leave it in vinegar for a couple of hours.

I'd stay away from the redsea. There was all sorts of issues with them.

Brent, I agree with Rich. I was not satisfied with my Red Sea unit. Sanders makes a much better unit but needs a separate controller.

Vinegar is good. The probe cleaning solution sold is usually hydrochloric acid.

Thanks I am going to start doing some more research on them. Do you have your inject into your skimmer?

yes I have mine in my skimmer, same with everyone know. you just have to make sure you skimmer is rated for ozone.

has anyone heard of running ro/di water through a redsea 200mg unit to clean it once a year?

ha, I guess I didn't get last post before splitting for performance, have to be close! if someone can please get back to me on my post though :) maybe you'll be first in line when it splits, lol.

Have any of you used this reactor?
ozone.htm

I have had it for a year or so but never hooked it up.
