Awesome. I know you just barely put them in the tank, but what is your impression of the flow on them?

You may need to try to mix in another food at the same time to make sure they eat. Be sure to talk to the people in the Seahorse forum to get the best advice right now, rather than later. What species are they?

The flow seems to be okay actually. I was prepared to lower the flow, but they don't seem to be being pushed around or blown away by the flow.

They are H.Kudas. Been doing a lot of research on them. I threw in some fire volcanic shrimp just for fun, and they already started hunting them down (lot faster than I expected) and gobbled them up. I'll feed them hikari mysis mixed w/ the oceanrider vibrance II tomorrow and see how they respond to it.

I made a quick video too. will post it up after encoding it. (luckily caught one of them scarfing down one of the shrimp - around 2:45 into the vid).

Dennis, your new kudas are so cute! They look like shipping wasn't too hard on them at all. I love the video!!! I guess you'll have to be forgiven for breaking your 'LPS only' rule, because the horses are lovin' that leather. I hope you're prepared to spend more time staring adoringly at the tank...:love2:

What are ou using for filtration on the nano?

I ask because the water is very clear.
I run chemipure and Poly Filter...Also have a refugium/sump below tank.

Gonna move over my Aqua C urchin from another tank soon as well.

hth.

And thanks for compliments, guys!

Awesome tank! I like eveything about it. Have you ever been into planted tanks? Your aquascaping is beyond what I usually see done in reefs. Great job!
