Tigahboy's 15S [LPS-only]

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! It took me a year to recover when I lost my 1st seahorses in a move :( .

I'm glad I finally tried them again, definitely a cool fish to have.

It looks like your corals didn't even notice the salinity spike!

I found him actually at an LFS and they carry OR horses. He's about 2" long.

None of the horses were paired up, but I did pick up what I believe to be a female (could totally be wrong tho).

she's very camera shy, so I only got one pic of her:

aaaw, they're precious! Good local find. How are they eating? I just replaced 1 of my fem reidis w/a male - I couldn't force them to live like that anymore ;). My poor little girl adores him, & all he wants to do is hide in the back hunting mysis. He's eating hikari frozen, but he won't touch PE. I gotta get him bolder, I miss seeing horses whenever I walk up to the tank.

I tried feeding them today and the male gobbled up a ton of hikari. But the female was hiding behind a rock the entire time. hopefully she'll come around when i feed again tomorrow.

Let us know how she does. Are you sure your store didn't have ORA seahorses? When I worked at the LFS I tried for 5 mos to get OR to sell us wholesale, & they just never responded. I finally gave up & carried ORA horses, they were usually that tiny.

They claimed that they were OR and even had a print-out from the oceanrider website. but u never know w/ LFS's sometimes. haha.

Isn't it funny how we all need 'em, but most of the time they're so frustrating? Sorta like the opposite sex :p We've been really fortunate around here since kevinpo opened his place - before that it was sorta scary...

I have noticed OR has really vamped things up since way back in my day ('02 -'03), so I wouldn't doubt what your LFS said. Just curious :).
