hi tigahboy,
first of all, beautiful tank. i have a question...why do you call the toadstool their feeding station? do they eat it? or eat off of it? i'm a bit confused.

hey i just stumbled upon this awsome thread!! awsome tank man. got a question that you have most likely answered already. what type of tank is it and where can i get one? what type of filtration are you running and what lighting? thanks awsome tank btw!!!!

Tigahboy-do all the led lights give your coral that one of a kinda color???????? plz tell i woudl rly like to know how you get your leathers to look for nice.

Imareefer - Thanks! The tank is a clear for life 15g show acquired thru PlatinumReefs.com. It's a pretty popular brand so I'm sure u can get your LFS to order it for you.
I made 2 overflows to drain into a 10g AGA which has LR for biological filtration and an AquaC Urchin for protein skimming. The lights are 70w MH Aqua Medic Ocean Lights w/ 20k AB bulb.
pimp - the LEDs are not on when the 70w 20K is on. So that's not contributing to their color.

Tigah, it looks like your leather is 1 of the 'Steve Tyree LE green polyp sarcophytons', is this correct?

This may be a bit off topic, but I just finished reading all 200+ pgs of the mother of all acan threads in the LPS forum, & in it you posted pics of an amazing rainbow echinata. Is a frag from that colony in this 15g?

Honestly, not sure about the green sarco. I just picked it up from a fellow reefer locally (who had a bunch of NICE ones). Didn't think to ask where he got it from since I was getting it to merely serve as a feeding station for the seahorses. But I've grown to like it a lot.
Yes, a frag is in the 15g. But it has changed colors A LOT since I placed it directly under my MH's. The rainbows can change colors pretty frequently depending on lighting. They exhibit the best colors (like in the LPS thread) when placed under T5 actinics (or at least that's what I've seen in my experience).
