Tiger Pistol Shrimp

I have never had a goby/shrimp combo, but it sounds like a good chance to me.
You don't always have 100% success though. They can live in the same tank without pairing up. That is why some LFS' carry them as pairs already, to assure the success.
Seeing that the orange spot is a shrimp goby, and the odds are with you, you should have a happy little pair.

Well im not sure of that combo,but i do know they pair with yellow watchman gobies.Mine paired up within minutes!

My tiger and o-s goby have been together now for about ten months. They paired instantly; when I added the goby to the tank, the shrimp rounded him up and showed him into a cave. A few minutes later the two of them were peeking out of the entrance, and within hours they were out and renovating 
Here's the orange-spot on his own - IMHO these are gorgeous fish, and their colours match really nicely with tigers.

Jordan55 - I got him at Big Al's, cost me about $30CD but he's worth it. Often stores can order things in, I'd visit a LFS and ask them if they can get you a pistol.
bblundell - you're welcome! They really are beautiful fish, often overlooked I think. Mine has a wonderful personality, and he's incredibly protective of his shrimp and their caves. I could watch them for hours. Every day the two of them leave the cave to explore; to me they look a little like a little old man and his seeing eye dog taking a stroll in the park

mine paired up easily. I have them separated right now because I just transfered a rock to my new 24g. NC and the pistol was in the rock, but im gonna put the goby in soon.
