Time for my 100g reef to go

OK so I am starting to neglect my reef so it is time for me to let it go.

The tank is 100g
The sump is 55g
Lighting consists of 2 250W Icacap ballasts for MH
2 Icacap ballasts running 4 60" t5 bulbs
AquaController 3 with 2 8 outlet controllable plug-bars and the expansion block
Chiller is 1/4 aquaLogic drop in type
Calcium reactor is a MARS DIY with CO2 tank and regulator
CL pump is a Reeflo/Sequence Marlin with a Oceans Motions 4 way
Sump return pump is a Pan World
I built the stand and canopy in clear pine with a cherry finish
I have a lot of coral and fish most of which I saw them in the store and said that is cool I think I'll put it in my tank. I do not have the names of much, but I do know I have a large patch of tubs blues going on and several other colorful zoas.

I am sure there is much more I neglected to list but this the start. First pass I would like to sell the entire system for $1000. If I do not get any interest in a week or two I will start parting it out. All live stock must find new homes before I will pull any hardware.

I have attached an older photo of the system.

Thank you,

John

John,
You will be missed, you were truly one of the nicer guys in the hobby and it was a pleasure to have you in the club. Best wishes in all your future endeavors.

That is a great looking set up! love the taller stand! Hopefully you will find the time to enjoy the hobby in the near future!

John,

like
Paul said you and your wife are 2 of the nicest people and will be missed!

Do you still have the mantis in the see through fuge? That was a cool idea

I remember helping get the rig into the house...

Any interest helping me get it out of his house and/or into my house on Saturday?

:D

Sold, paid half today. Looking forward to a tank all for my SPS... Dang you reef bug, I swore I wouldn't get the SPS bug...

Oh well, better to give in now and resign myself to a life of financial woes than to fight it.

I'm going to be setting up this tank, as is at my house for now. I'm sure I'll be giving away a few things to those that help. I'd love to flood the market with Tubs Blues, taking a page from Minh. I'll be bringing some to the frag swap for sure.

Hey John,

Sorry to see you taking a break... I remember helping get that system set up in your place. Lots of smart thinking went into the design, so Pete, you are getting a fabulous deal. The lighting alone was really cool on the sliders. If ya need a hand, I can probably come swing by to help you tear it down and set it up this weekend. I have a wee bit of experience in the 'art.' :D

Oh and I have a truck if you need it - just ask you help feed that beast. Its seen more saltwater than most of our tanks will ever see in their lifetime.

I'm meeting John at his place at 1pm on Saturday. Free frags to all that help, as well as Pizza and beer on the other end to those that can help.

hey Pete Id love to help also but my parents are coming up this weekend and I dont really think theyd enjoy taking a tank down and putting it back together! Looks like you got a really good deal though!
