Here is my almost fully stocked tank. I am hoping to add one or two very special and exceptionally rare fish in the coming months.

I really like your tank! You have 6 of my favorite fish a conspic, a clown trigger, a picasso trigger, a golden puffer, a bluespotted puffer and a goldflake.

Where do you get your expensive and unusuals? If you don't mind me asking.

FishyMel,

My favorite sources are Liveaquaria DD and Reefhotspot.

I had a 9" New Caledonia Emperor in there as well, but sadly he had to be rehomed because he was too aggressive. towards his tankmates.

Greg - looking sweet man! So envious of the Conspic. I think there is room for at least one rare holocanthus and another emperor :)

Looks great :) How do you feel about Griffis angels? Ever thought about putting one of them in there?

that is a fantastic looking tank! would you mind describing your set-up or linking to a relevant thread?

what fish will you add?

Thanks Recty.

Griffis Angels are subtle beauties, much like Bandits. They do not really have striking coloration yet they have a tendency to grow on you.
My plan is to get a juvenile Emperor and then another really rare Angel.
I came very close to buying the Gem Tang on DD that sold last week on many occasions. What held me back is I think it would do better in a reef tank with less boisterous inhabitants

I agree, I'm thinking about getting one for mine but I'm not really sure its what I want. I'd like a good showpiece fish and I just dont think the griffis is anywhere close, they dont really have much coloration.

Recty,

If you get one Angelfish I would go with a New Caledonia or Christmas Island adult Emperor. Their coloration is spectacular and they can hold their own which is important in a tank full of triggers like yours.

Yeah, I think that's a really good idea :) Wait until you see what I've got coming, I'll be posting pictures Wednesday ;)

I take it all is healthy again?

The scribbled angel........your fav, mine as well. How did I know? The orientation of it in the shots....as long as it is in focus, the rest will be good enough!
