That is the prettiest picture of your tank I've seen yet. The lightining is just awesome looking..what beauty!

Wow SunnyX that looks beautiful. I'm Trying to see what a difference in salt, and and volume of water change, along with frequency can make. ! pis is worth you know what.

jjjimmy ,looking good. Oceanic Is a very good IMO,I never had any problems with it,but my LFS doesn't stock it any more.

Mike, Tropic Marin Pro Reef is what I use now, since my LFS stop stocking Oceanic, and I like what I see,but the price is way too high. I tried IO ,but Calcium,Alk., and Mag. ,hit the basement. BTW, I did not try Reef Cyrstals.

Its all about shadows.:D

Instant Ocean. 180 gal tank. I "change" about 20 gal a month. I run my sump level real high, and skim out about 5 gal a week, and then add about 40 gal when I do the water change.

So the net is 40 gal every 4 to 6 weeks. About 15% of my total water volume.

Really great looking tanks guys. I can't tell if the brand of salt has anything to do with results. They all look good. Greg, that NSW seems to be doing a great job for your tank, but I know it isn't just the water. Hard work has a lot to do with it. Ted

gcarrol your tank looks awesome. I like your method of WC, I'm going to try it.

120G
25gal WC every 2-3 weeks
just did one today :)

(I tried to copy SunnyX's photo technique :D)

Amazing tank!!!

The reason my pics are at that angle is because the tank is IN-wall and 4ft off the ground.
Maybe ill try to get a better pic today.
That pic is a couple months old anyway.

120 Gallon cube (36x36x24) SPS, 70 gallon (36x18x28) LPS, 40 gallon (24x24x16) frag tank all plumbed into a common 60 gallon sump.

I also have a 70 gallon corner tank on a seperate system for shrooms, rics, zoos, etc. That one I change about 5 gallons a week with RC.

I use Reef Crystals and change about 40 gallons per week.
